Assist the Officer is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides immediate, short-term financial assistance to Houston police officers and their families during times of critical need. The organization symbolizes appreciation for every officer's dedicated service and commitment to the safety of citizens.

Warrior's Rest Foundation, established in 2018, is dedicated to helping first responders—such as law enforcement, fire, EMS, communications officers, and corrections personnel—heal from job-related traumas. They offer peer support teams, workshops, and educational tools to promote emotional health and resilience, aiming to empower first responders to lead healthy, productive lives both personally and professionally.

Its mission is to facilitate networking, idea-sharing, and collaboration among these institutions, enabling them to develop programs that enhance services for law enforcement families. POCUA comprises several police credit unions across the country, all dedicated to serving the financial needs of law enforcement communities.

Honor The Brave is an organization founded by Jeff and Zanna Wolfgang, dedicated to giving back to current and former law enforcement, military personnel, and firefighters. Drawing from Jeff's personal experience as a law enforcement officer injured in the line of duty, they understand the unique challenges faced by these professionals. Their mission is to honor and support these individuals through various initiatives, including assistance with home buying and selling, and making donations to related charities. They also present handmade wooden flags crafted by active-duty Marines to remind recipients that their service is appreciated.

Cathy and Javier Bustos, known as "That Peer Support Couple," are retired law enforcement officers with four decades of combined experience. They specialize in providing peer support and counseling to first responders and their families, drawing from personal experiences with critical incidents. Cathy is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate offering services to Texas first responders and veterans, while Javier is a certified peer support specialist. Together, they offer training, public speaking, and consulting to promote mental health and resilience within the first responder community.

The Wounded Blue is a national non-profit organization dedicated to supporting injured and disabled law enforcement officers across the United States. Their mission focuses on providing support, education, assistance, and legislative advocacy to improve the lives of these officers. Through their Peer Support Advocate Program, they offer confidential peer support, understanding the unique challenges faced by law enforcement personnel. Additionally, they work to de-stigmatize mental health issues within the law enforcement community and provide resources such as service dogs, retreats, and training. The organization also advocates for stronger legislation to support officers, including efforts around workers' compensation and mental health assistance.
