Pray for the Patch- Baton Rouge PD, Louisiana State Police and New Orleans PD
Each week the How 2 Love Our Cops prayer team spends some time reviewing the patches that have been sent to us from all over the country. Prayerfully, we choose a patch and share it with you, our incredible followers to come along side us and lift up the men and women who represent the department selected.
The How 2 Love Our Cops Team is honored to travel to the state of Louisiana to educate, equip and encourage LE spouses through our Home Watch Spouse Conference in Baton Rouge.
We will have the same opportunity for officers and vital Law Enforcement agency members through the C.O.P.S. Traumas for Law Enforcement Training in New Orleans. Our team will be there the first week in April and are excited to connect with attendees who represent agencies within the region as well as those who join from out of state.
Join us to pray for the Baton Rouge PD, Louisiana State Police and New Orleans PD.
Dear LORD,
We thank you for the honor and blessing of connecting with those attending the Home Watch Conference or Traumas for Law Enforcement Training. You are compassionate and know the needs of this region. We pray your presence would go before us and prepare the words of every speaker and the hearts of every attendee.
May wisdom and understanding empower this region to strengthen marriages and heal from trauma.
Shine your light on these agencies as they serve the communities before them and give them favor with excellent applicants in the hiring process, effective Peer Support programs, Spouse groups, and strong relationships of mutual trust between each agency and their community.
Lord, as we bring this prayer to an end our hearts mourn with Baton Rouge PD who tragically lost two officers with the Air Support Unit this week.
We pray for the families of Sergeant David Poirrier and Corporal Scotty Canezaro.
We pray for the minds and hearts of every person affected. Good Shepherd be their comfort and provide for every need today and in the days to come.
The LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, to guide and to shield me], I shall not want. He lets me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still and quiet waters. He refreshes and restores my soul (life); He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the [sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort and console Me.
Surely goodness and mercy and Unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life.
Psalm 23:1-4; 6a AMP
In Jesus name we pray
